Yesterday, July 14th my baby sister Delanie was taken from my family in a car accident.
She, a family friend, and their pets, were on their way home from a fun vacation together when they hit wet roadways and collided with a semi truck. All lives in the car were lost.
Delanie just celebrated her 19th birthday a month ago. She was a loud, vibrant, unique and kind individual. Intelligent beyond her years and just as compassionate. I told my mom when she was born she was the best birthday gift I ever received, and I proudly raised her as my own; now less than 20 short, short years later I’m without her.
An irreplaceable hole will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, coworkers, and church members.
You can never ever be fully prepared for an event like this, financially included. We ask for any help you can offer to lay my baby to rest. Thank you.
