Saying Goodbye to Ashley

My brother, Ashley Hanna, passed away yesterday. I find myself re-reading that line over and over again and it still hasn't sunk in. It has to be a bad dream..a nightmare really. That's what I keep telling myself, but it's not. The grief we are feeling, the tears we are crying,are all real. We are broken-hearted. He was an amazing son, brother, nephew and cousin. He had a smile that lit up the room, a hug that could melt an iceberg and a laugh that was contagious. He was special, we all knew it. I hope he did too. I wish I made sure he knew. I wish I had one more moment with him, one more hug, one more smile. His passing has left a huge hole in our hearts. We just can't wrap our heads around the fact that he is no longer with us. No one is ever prepared for a loss like this. Ashely didn't have life insurance, so while dealing with the grief of losing a piece of our heart, we also have to figure out how to financially handle his cremation and service. Any help would be appreciated no matter how small. Most of all, please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. Hug your loved ones, tell them how special and loved they are. You never know when your last moment will be.
