Sayde’s Farewell ❤️

On September 25, 2018 at 11:27am, Sayde made the hardest decision at only 5 years old and decided it was time to stop fighting. She was tired of being 15 months in a hospital bed 24/7, with tubes all over her tiny body, in over 10 different medications, going to the OR countless times, coming back to life countless times, one of which she fought for over 4 hours till she came back, strokes leaving half of her body with almost no movement and the list goes on... This time, she decided it was time to let Mommy go home and be reunited with Daddy and little Brother and be that family that they once were... That day, it was the hardest day for her family, friends, nurses, doctors, staff, security people and even other patients families. Her hospital room was filled with love... There are no words to describe how it felt watching Mommy hold her in her arms for the last time while she took her last breath... Daddy looking at her knowing he was no longer going to walk her down the aisle was heartbreaking.... Max with tears on his eyes thinking who he’s gonna play with from now on was really hard for us not to cry... She changed so many peoples life’s. Even those that didn’t get the chance to meet her.. So Sayde, we know you’re in a better place now and resting... Mommy, Daddy, Max and all of us will always remember you as that happy little girl full of life, a “total character”, and will love you more and more each day! Thank you SO much for all the laughter and great memories! You will always be the best! The “Only Sayde” Our strength! Our turtle power!
