Yorkshire Three Peaks Charity Walk

In Spring 2026, Saxon Risk Management Ltd will undertake a demanding charity endurance walk across the Yorkshire Three Peaks in support of two meaningful causes.

The challenge will be completed by the full Saxon Risk Management team, alongside close friends and family of the company, and a small number of elite former British Army servicemen.

We are raising funds through GoFundMe, with all donations placed into a single fund and split equally between two charities.

What Is the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge?

The Yorkshire Three Peaks is a renowned long-distance walking challenge linking Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough into one continuous circular route.

The route typically covers 24–26 miles, with over 5,000 feet of total ascent, across mixed terrain including moorland, stone paths, steep climbs, technical descents, and exposed ground.

It is a physically and mentally demanding endurance walk that requires resilience, discipline, navigation, and teamwork.

Supporting Scotty’s Little Soldiers

As part of this challenge, Saxon Risk Management is proud to raise funds for Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a UK charity dedicated to supporting children who have lost a parent while serving in the British Armed Forces. The charity provides vital emotional support, community connection, and practical assistance to help bereaved military children navigate life after loss.

Meg’s Walk

Meg’s Walk is deeply personal.

Meg is a survivor of abuse within an adult relationship. Through strength, resilience, and the support she received, she has chosen to turn her experience into something positive—to give back and help others facing similar challenges.

Half of the funds raised will support a charity personally chosen by Meg: ROTHACS.

ROTHACS supports individuals affected by abuse, including survivors of domestic and relationship abuse, as well as children who have suffered abuse or been impacted by unsafe or harmful home environments. Funds raised will help provide access to therapy, counselling, and long-term recovery support.

Meg’s Walk represents resilience, unity, and hope—standing alongside adults and children affected by abuse and helping them rebuild their lives with dignity, support, and access to therapeutic care.

How the Funds Will Be Used

All funds raised through this charity walk will be shared equally between:

• Scotty’s Little Soldiers – supporting bereaved children of British Armed Forces personnel

• ROTHACS – supporting survivors of abuse and affected children

This approach ensures fair, meaningful, and lasting support for both causes.
