Sawyer Robinson's Medical Fund

During my sister, Veronica Robinson's 20 week ultrasound, doctors discovered an extrememly large,  vascular and fetally life threatening tumor on her placenta. The tumor is called a chorioangioma. Asymptomatic chorioangioma's (showing no symptoms)  are very small and occur in 0.5-1% of all pregnancies, this tumor was very large and had created high risk complications including polyhydroaminos, fetal anemia, and cardiomegaly. Veronica and her husband, Brandon were immediately sent to the Children's Hospital of Colorado where specialists could determine the procedures that would be necessary to privide a positive outcome. Veronica underwent surgery that included an ethanol injection into the tumor to restrict blood flow, an intravascular blood transfusion for baby Sawyer and a reduction of amnitotic fluid.  Brandon, Veronica and baby Sawyer have since returned home to Albuquerque after spending two weeks at the Children's Hospital of Colorado. They need to be seen by high risk doctor's twice a week for ultrasounds and echocardiograms to monitor Sawyer's progress. Although Sawyer faced severe complications, the surgeons and specialists believe the outcome will be very positive. The medical bills have already begun to add up. Any donation through "Go Fund Me" will help Brandon, Veronica and Sawyer during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers and support!
