Sandra Ferrier, my grandmother, is someone who has embodied the term "full of life". She has always shown a bubbling personality and unparalleled energy. A staple for her dance crew, Classix Crew out of Atlanta, she soared with the stars on national television on the show Dance Battle America and entertained the masses on the court of the Atlanta Hawks halftime shows; all at the age of 76.
Sandra is a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her large family and she has remained a beacon for our family. This woman has been around greatness and shines brighter than them all; however, with every good story there is a struggle behind the curtain.
Over 20 years ago, Sandra fought and cured her breast cancer holistically, because Traditional Medicine had failed her. Unfortunately the cancer is back and a more aggressive type! We’ve been battling this new cancer for 3.5 years and none of it is covered by insurance and in that time it has exhausted the family’s financial resources. Our research has led us to a clinic in Germany where she can receive the needed treatment. Sandra has been pushing herself daily, past the pain, and the lump growing in her chest to continue to fight for her life.
Unfortunately she can’t do everything alone which is why we are starting this Go Fund Me account for her. Her family is trying to raise $35,000 to send Sandra to this clinic. We are asking for your help for this AMAZING woman to fight for her chance to continue to shoot for the stars and defeat breast cancer once and for all!
