Please Help Luna Be a "Cat" Again :)

My dearest Luna is not only the baby of my family, she has alway been the most mischievous, daring, and adorable cat I've been blessed to mother. When her behavior drastically changed two nights ago, she was rushed to the vet and diagnosed with acute and chronic kidney disease--and her kidneys were severely failing on the spot. The vet also stressed that she needed an IV asap given that she was going into shock as we spoke; given her critical condition, I rushed her to a 24-hour ER hoping she would make it through the night. By that point, the question of not knowing how much longer you can provide financially as test after test is something I couldn't imagine all pet owners having to go through. I mean, how does one put a price on the life of a best friend? I could only hope that a conclusive test result would give me the answer and strength to keep pushing to save Luna's life.
Unfortunately, Luna's slowly making it out of the woods but isn't making the upward progress we'd all like to see. She'll continue to need further testing and medication and, if she can make a steady recovery, a lifetime of daily fluid injections and medication :(
These past several days has been very hard on the family and, despite my nonstop tears through it all, I admire Luna's heart and will to live, or, as her vet would say, "she just wants to be a normal cat."

My deepest appreciation for your continued support with special thanks to my friend for referring me to this site, and also to the team of doctors who demonstrated incredible care, patience, and have maintained extreme professionalism and sensitivity in their treatment plans. The funding will help cover Luna's medical expenses to date plus her lifetime of care. You are truly all amazing.
