Saving Brinkley

Everyone’s best friend Brinkley needs surgery to prolong his life with us. Brinkley was diagnosed with Laryngeal Paralysis and needs medical intervention to prevent his throat from closing in on itself; ultimately suffocating him.
Without the surgery, Brinkley is no longer able to play ball…can you even imagine the torture!!!??? He can’t be social with all his human friends; getting excited when he’s happy to see you causes more stress on his airway. To think Brinkley could suffocate while happily chasing his ball is too much to bear.
Brinkley’s dad, although willing to give his soul for his child, needs our help to keep his best friend alive. We are all connected to Brinkley in some way, and all of us know what he means to Jason. Brinkley’s doctor said surgery will start in the $3,000 range and go up from there. Our goal is to pass the minimal and if funds are left over, donate to Jason and Brinkley’s favorite charity; ASPCA or even someplace local. Surgery needs to be done right away; hoping this week as the 4th of July will put extreme stress on his airway. Surgery will need to be July 3rd, but this can only happen if funds are available.
