Willow's story:
Willow is an 8 week old furbaby that was rescued over the weekend after her owner's boyfriend brutally assaulted her by swinging her around by her leash and slamming her body into the ground. She has won the hearts of a whole following of people and most of all has won the heart of her rescuer, Leah Lind. After several days of consulting with vets and reviewing xrays and treatment plans, it has been decided it is in sweet Willow's best interest to have immediate emergency surgery. She has a distal femoral physeal fracture and a luxated hip and could potentially lose her leg without this surgery. The surgery is estimated to be extremely costly, within several thousands dollars to $5,000 (and possibly even more) range depending on what the surgeon sees once they get in there. Leah is applying for care credit line which should be approved but this will be a signficant debt to her family and she is asking for help, no matter how little, no matter how much, so that she can provide the best chance for Ms. Willow to recover successfully.
