Saving Stella Dog

Thursday September 17, Stella caught a almost full grown Squirrel, She refused after many attempts to trade it. I offered a slice of sandwich meat for trade and she took it, BUT swallowed it along with the entire whole squirrel.  She became very sick to her stomach and I took her to the vet. We did not want her to throw up as it would cause a lot of damage. The goal was to keep the squirrel in her tummy and let nature do its job with the help of white bread and anti-nausea medication. It did not work and she had surgery on Monday September 21, 2020. Her bill was close to $3,000.00 to SAVE her life. My husband's business has been shut down due to Virginia Covid law. You see he provides Special Event's Lighting. No events and gatherings has caused all of our contracts to be canceled. We had to borrow the money and will need to pay it back. We have three rescue dogs and have always been able to take care of them. We need help paying back the wonderful person that let us borrow the money.
