On Christmas Eve Rico had to undergo emergency surgery to remove an obstruction from his bowels.
Two days prior he became very ill. He wouldn’t eat nor drink. This is highly unusual for Rico. He’s always been my fat kid. I also knew something was wrong when he lost all desire to take a trip to the park he loves to visit to chase squirrels. We bundled up and made a trip to the ER. After iv, tests, and and failure to improve it was discovered that he had a foreign body inside his intestine and without surgery he would die. I couldn’t bare to lose my sweet boy. After the vets and surgeons were able to discount everything possible the bill is now at $4,500. I don’t usually ask for help but if anyone is willing to give me a hand I would GREATLY appreciate it.
