I'm Dave Goyette and pictured is my friend of 40 years, Karl Hogan with his best friend, Knight, a 7 & 1/2-year-old Belgian Malinois. Karl very recently was diagnosed with advanced Stomach & Liver cancer . #CancerSucks. His prognosis is dire, to put it gently. He's unlikely to survive much longer, to be blunt.

I'm fundraising to get Knight from Texas to Vermont. It's the least I can do to put my friend's mind at ease knowing his best friend will be in good hands with me. Yep, I'm adopting Knight, much to Karl's enthusiastic approval and blessings. We both want what's best for Knight, for him to happily live out his canine years.

Between transport costs, vet bills to get Knight up to date to legally travel across state lines, and more recently, temporary boarding, the expenses are piling up on top of my own recent wonderful "good" fortune (NOT), having to replacing my furnace. PLEASE consider a donation of any amount you can spare to help me safely bring Knight to Vermont.
