Assalamualikum - Peace be upon us all!
Noah’s great flood was here again. This time it took out what many call “Paradise on Earth.” Kashmir, a state located in the Himalayan mountains. It is a very beautiful state similar to Switzerland in its beauty but now it is completely devastated by the recent floods in north India and north east Pakistan. The state of Jammu and Kashmir needs your help. I am collecting donations on behalf of my childhood town Shah Mohallah, Srinagar Kashmir. My parents and rest of my extended family are currently trapped in their houses with no access to clean water or food for last 5 plus days. The communication is down and most of the towns are inaccessible by road. More than a million people have been effected by the flood and government is unable to handle the crises. Remember "Katrina!". The devastation caused by the flood last week is unimaginable and its aftermath is yet to be seen. I am requesting all concerned members of this species which we call "Humans" to show their humanity and help the people of Kashmir. Rest assured every penny will be sent by me for the immediate and long term rehabilitation of my dear neighbors, friends and relatives in Srinagar, Kashmir. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous donations. I would not have started this campaign if I knew people will not give but I know there are many generous people out there that are willing to give for this noble cause.
