Saving Grace - Help her walk again

Grace has an unbelievable will to live.  At only 12 weeks old, she was hit by a car on a busy highway and it appears she lay in a ditch for several days, battling freezing temperatures and rain before being found by a good samaritan and taken to Huntsville Animals Services.

FMN immediately went to get her, taking her for X-rays where it was determined she has 3 fractured legs.

You might ask why put this sweet girl through such an extensive surgery and recovery? But if you met her, you would know why! Grace is a fighter, she is always wagging her tail, so happy to greet anyone that visits her. She is even trying to stand up on 3 splinted legs! So given her happy disposition and enormous will to live, we just felt like we couldn’t let her down.

It’s a very expensive surgery, at a $7,000 price tag, but we are hoping everyone will get the chance to meet her and understand just why we think she is worth every penny.

If everyone could find it in their hearts to donate, any amount will help, then we can make her surgery happen and get her started on the road to recovery.

Grace has proven to us that although someone left her for dead in a ditch in wet, freezing temperatures for days, that she has so much love to give and will make a great addition to a family one day...three broken legs are just a minor delay for this girl.
