Coronavirus and subsequent mandated closures has hit the restaurant industry especially hard and none more so than small owner operated ventures such as eve fremont.
In 2015, Jill Buchanan and I launched on a partnership and a dream to bring nourishing, delicious clean food to our little corner of the world. We mortgaged our houses and stretched our credit and now we are faced with our dream turning into a nightmare. Small restaurants run on slim profit margins on a good day and while we are generally doing ok, we currently find ourselves with an exhausted bank account and no foreseeable end to the nightmare. We are exploring all avenues available through the city, state and federal government while trying to keep ourselves afloat through the month of April.
With infinite humility we need to reach out and ask our community for help in order to weather the storm and be in a position too be able to re-open and rehire our 21 employees who are family to us and rely on our day to day operations to survive.
We love and miss you all and thank you so much for the support!!
Your generous donations go towards keeping our small beloved business afloat in the following ways: Rent, NNN, taxes, payroll & payroll taxes, operating expenses, employees who are unable to file for unemployment.
PS, we are doing take out now. The online menu and gift cards are available online at evefremont.com
