Chris is a young boy who has been diagnosed with the Duchenne Muscular Dystrohy disease (DMD.) This is a very rare progressive illness that impedes the normal growth and life of the young patients who have it. A recently approved and life saving Gene Therapy drug "Elevedys," could be the cure but it comes at a very steep price ($3.5 Millions.) This drug must be administered between the ages of 4 and 5. Time is of the essence and currently no insurance or discount programs would cover this drug.
