Saving Boots and other Slater Fire pets

Donation protected
As most people know the Slater fire swept through Happy Camp and most people had little to no time to evacuate. My Sisters family were only able to leave their home with the clothes on their back and their 2 dogs. Unfortunately their family cat Boots was no where to be found. When they were able to be escorted back to their property they had lost everything but found Boots. Boots had to wait 2 weeks before his family could come to find him. Even though Boots had survived the for he is not out of the woods yet. Boots is in critical condition, his paws were so badly burned his bones are exposed. The vet he was taken to called my sister and stated that they will now need to find another vet and pay for his care some where else. Boots needs at least another month if not more in the vets care as he needs an IV, pain meds, antibiotics and his bandages changed daily.  With the loss of everything they own and a family of 5 they are asking for help. If you can spare anything it would be greatly appreciated. We can not find it in our hearts to give up on this little guy as he waited day and night to be reunited with us. Boots is a big part of the family and the kids love him dearly and can not wait until he is better and can come home! Whatever money is donated will go to his care and what is left we would like to donate to other Slater Fire animals as well.
