Saving Berk the Pig

Hello, all. My name is Stephanie Seaholm. We have a sanctuary and healing center in Kanab, UT called Paria River Ranch. I have 2 days to save the life of this pig. His name is Berk. He is a 4-H pig and the kid and family have grown attached and say he’s the sweetest, funniest, smartest boy! This is their first experience with meat pigs and I think their last because of all the anxiety and sadness they’re feeling that he is set to go to auction, as a meat pig, on Saturday at 4pm. They reached out to me to see if we could help. I’m praying for a miracle. They brought him to another location a couple of days ago and he is very upset, not eating and dropping weight fast. They are not sure what this means and instead of waiting I feel I need to make this post in hopes that we can raise enough money to “buy” him at auction and then find a happy home for him where his life will be spared. I know I only have about 48 hours to raise enough money to save his life, but you guys know how many miracles I’ve witnessed. He doesn’t want to die, guys. No one does. I know there’s so many others that we can’t change their fate, but I feel with enough support we can save the life of this boy. PLEASE DONATE AND SHARE!!
