Hi,
If you know me, you know it has really taken a lot for me to come down and post this. My 1 year old French Bulldog, Bane, had a random allergic reaction while on a walk 2 days ago. When this unknown allergy happened, his throat swelled while on a walk and he was unable to breathe. While rushing him home, he began to panic and had a heat stroke. From the time it happened to the time I got him to the vet was less than 20 minutes away. (VCA Animal Hospital). They had trouble getting him stable and his blood was clotting as he was having blood coming from his lungs. Due to this and being unable to get a temperature on him, they immediately transferred him to an ER to do a plasma transplant and monitor liver failure. While he is showing good signs, he is in ICU and will be until Monday. I have already paid $1,372 in medical bills from the first vet and a down payment on his care. However, even though I have paid every penny out of my pocket that I have, he still has a balance $2000. Please, if anyone can even donate a dollar to help my little baby, he just turned a year old and has such a long life ahead of him. He can pull through this he just depends on me to help him get the medical attention he needs to pull through.
I will be posting regular updates of his progress as I will be with him every step of the way for the next two days. Thank you all so much.
