Help young Mom travel for testing & medication

Please note this fundraiser is for helping with living costs, medication costs, parking costs at hospitals, travel costs, hotel costs etc. We tried to update the main name but it wouldn’t let us. The govt has finally stepped in with medication costs after two months of trying! but have funded only 4 months.
My daughter is a amazing good hearted young woman and single Mother. The last year she was diagnosed with multiply relapsing ITP. Its a serious blood disease that attacks her platelets and has her at a high risk of spontaneous brain bleeding or internal bleeding at least every two weeks as her platelets become so drastically low. In fact since June she has faced near death numbers of 14 (normal levels are 150-400) 6 times! So far the only treatment she gets is a rescue treatment of blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, IVIG infusions (plasma). In the last few months she had rounds of steroids which she had a severe allergic reaction to and that is not a option anymore. When treatment is needed (which she averages every two weeks) she gets 4 rounds of each transfusion and infusion over multiple days of being hospitalized. One of those rounds of treatment should have put a normal person with the disease into full remission but because her condition is so severe and progressed all of that treatment only lasts her 2 weeks before she is in critical distress again and needing hospitalization and more transfusions. These rescue treatments aren't long term and have even stopped being as effective. One treatment used to last her 6-8 weeks and is now only lasting a week to 10 days
The doctors have an answer for her and that is a treatment that cancer patients get over an 8 hour period through intravenous once a week. She has tested negative for Lymphoma and Leukemia at this point (it may develop later) and needs to get this treatment before they decide they have to take her spleen out.
Shes a single mom, who like many, lost her job 8 months ago because of Covid and then her work was devastated in April due to a huge flood in our city. This is all very hard on her and her young son with her being sick and now homeschooling too. Her 8-year-old son is her absolute best friend and love of her life and nothing is more scary in this world than being sick and the thought of having to leave him early There is many trips to Edmonton to her specialist, medications that are not covered as she has no benefits whatsoever, hospital parking fees, life costs as she cannot work while doing this treatment as it has all the horrible side effects as someone who is having cancer treatment goes through. She will completely lose her immune system. She has no income, no way to take care of anything she needs to. I NEED her to focus on her treatment and not worrying about life, bills, medical bills or her Son missing out. I feel she has no choice but to reach out and ask for your generosity at this point. She has to concentrate so she can fight one of the biggest battles of her life and get better so her little boy can finally have the Mommy back that he deserves.
