A 2nd Chance at Life- Thomas' Recovery

Donation protected
In 2009, my brother started down a path that would take him completely away from us for 4 1/2 years. In 2009, my brother became addicted to meth. One year ago this month, he finally came home and wanted to end his misery in addiction. As you can imagine, it has not happened quickly, easily, or without causing significant turmoil for us all- especially Thomas.

The good news is that he is in recovery - Praise God! By the grace of God, we found a treatment center in Costa Mesa, California and he has completed 90 days in treatment!

I never thought I would ask people for help to pay for his recovery, but I really had no other choice. Our family simply could not afford the cost of his treatment and transition to every day life on his own. Through many cheerful givers, we funded his 90 days of inpatient treatment!

We have complete faith that this is God's will for Thomas, and we are walking in hope that are we doing everything we should to help Thomas receive God's promises for him.

He is now transitioning to the next step in his life, the next step in his "journey to freedom" as he refers to it. If you are able, and would like to, even $5 would help us keep him in outpatient treatment and provide a safe place for him to live as he rebuilds his life.

Thank you for reading this. Please pray for us as we navigate each day. Rebuilding a life from scratch is not an easy feat.

Thomas does not yet know about all of you incredible people. I will share with him when the time is right, so please don't do so before me. I'd appreciate it. Thank you!

Love,
Megan
