Famed music venue Zoeys needs help

Zoey's has been an integral part of the southern California music scene for the past 12 years. FOR US TO CONTINUE WE NEED YOUR HELP. Some financial hurdles have hit us hard. Increased expenses: rent, permits, repair/replacement of appliances and electronics have led us to this point. NOT JUST A VENUE "“ Our goal is to foster an environment where music and art benefit our community. We sponsor our ONES to WATCH singer/songwriter competition and also partner with organizations such as The Red Cross, Foodshare, Project Understanding, Toys for Tots and more. WE ARE VENTURA'S MUSIC HEART - Musicians both local and national seek Zoey's out as one of the best listening rooms in the country. Many acts like Colbie Caillat, Bret Dennen, Jason Reeves, The Milk Carton Kids, Lee Koch and many more played their first shows at Zoey's. Seasoned acts continue to come through because they love playing here. NOW WE NEED HELP TO KEEP GOING - With the generous assistance from our amazing musician friends we are offering unique and exciting items. A digital download compilation featuring songs from these gracious artists will be included in your gift. Keep the donations coming!
