We are raising money to mount a legal challenge to save the school that we love — Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology — from the racist and bigoted “merit lottery” plan that Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Scott Brabrand has unveiled to realize specific racial outcomes. Brabrand is on a mission to steamroll the community. We welcome increasing the numbers of Blacks and Hispanic students at TJ but this failure of a plan won’t do it.
