SAVE THE SOLE

This is Lisa Sole. She is one of the strongest people to ever walk, and roll, on the face of this planet. A mother of two, a wife of 30 years, and a genuine friend to many, Lisa has struggled with Limb-Girdle Muscular dystrophy for 24+ years. It took away her ability to walk as well as most of her muscle function, however it has never taken her warm spirit or held her back from living her life to the fullest. Recently Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer, a genetic cancer which runs in our famiy. The doctors do not know if it has metastisized yet or not, nor will they be able to detect if it has until they do a PET scan and surgery. I want my mother to be able to have a PET scan so that the doctors can 100% find where the cancer is located and obliterate it. A PET scan is the only way to do that. However, my family and cannot afford a PET scan out of pocket and the insurance will not pay for it. She will be undergoing a double mastectomy as well as chemotherapy, both of which are unbelievably expensive. I want to raise money to help my parents pay for these medicle bills so that my mother can recieve the best possible treatment. She is only 51, with so much more life to give to this world. She needs your support, she needs your prayers. I know I am only one person, but I believe we can raise this money for her.
