Help Save The Crystal Cottage on Big Pine Key, Fl

Hi  I'm Debra Kupchok and I created The Crystal Cottage as a place for community to come together to share, explore, learn and grow.
It's a healing space, filled with many crystals and gemstones.
It's a place where like-minded people can join in to discuss topics on spirituality, alternative health,
conscious living, astrology, crystal healing.

The Crystal Cottag suffered extensive damage during hurricane Irma, a category 4 hurrincane blew right over us.
I'm going out of my comfort zone to ask for help to repair this special place. My vision is to come back better than ever! Going through this disaster has shown me how very important community is and I hold the intention to be a strong hold for our community.

The damage:
There was over 4 ft of water in the main showroom and 18 inches throughout the rest of the building.
Without any outside help it will be impossible to repair and rebuild.
The cleanup is underway, scrubbing the thick mud from all the floors, removing the wet and ruined displays, tables, chairs, shelving, etc.
We had  to clear a path of down trees just to get to the door.Cleaning the mud off the floors

There is still so much more to do.

I have no insurance on the building and FEMA will not help because it is not my primary home, which also suffered major damage.

The money raised will go to  repairs which will include replacing the damaged walls, insulation and floors. Electrical wiring and all outlets.
Purchasing new chairs, tables for classes and workshops. New AC and fans.

Tools are needed to do the carpentry work as all my tools were lost in the flood.

I will use all the funds to purchase the materials needed to make these repairs.  New wall, new insulation, new electrical wiring, new floors and whatever else needs replacing.

Over the past 4 years 100's are people from all around the world have walked through the door of The Cottage for classes, workshops, movies, healing energy sessions, and sound healings. There have been community pot luck dinners, solstice gatherings, ceremonies, Reiki healing circles. Many people are local and many discovered The Cottage as tourists on vacation to The Florida Keys. 

A rainbow appeared over the cottage one evening as I was cleaning up giving me hope that I could repair and rebuild.
