Please help The "Bat Cave" at The Wildlife Conservation and Education Center in Ridgefield Park, NJ raise funds for a new home! Please help our famous family of bats and our wonderful visitors!
For 20 years The Wildlife Conservation and Education Center has been raising awareness and funds for bat conservation. we offer educational programs for schools, scout groups, nature centers, libraries, conservation groups and every year we educate HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of children and adults on the importance of bats and bat conservation...And now we need your help.
We are trying to acquire a bigger center because the love for bats has grown as much as our live bat family!
There are no more facilities an the NY/NJ/CT centering on and specializing in bat conservation...Except us!
The world famous Bronx Zoo's "WORLD OF DARKNESS" exhibit, that we have all known and loved, has closed and we hope to give bat lovers the best bat conservation center ever!
In recent years, bats have been hailed as mosquito terminators, rainforest regenerators, medical saviors and environmental superheros, but they have been persecuted,and the loss of U.S. bats has been catastrophic due to disease, ignorance and over development of vulnerable habitats.
Please help us see our dream of a new, bigger and better "Bat Cave" come to life.
