Save T3 Bankstown Line GIPA Fund

The NSW Government needs to be held to account for its decisions especially those made in secret against the interest of the community.

Freedom of information is one of the last remaining tools in the fight of accountability and transparency of government. Our Government Information (Public Access) (GIPA) Act requests have exposed the Premier's Office hosting a meeting with property developers, the NSW Government's plans to close train stations west of Bankstown, and that Sydenham to Bankstown was selected for conversion into Sydney Metro because of land use/brownfield opportunties...

Each GIPA request starts with a $30 application fee with government agencies, ministers and their staff then able to impose processing fees into the thousands of dollars. We need your help and support to continue our freedom of information efforts in the community. Additional fees and legal costs involved with seeking the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) review of decisions made under the GIPA Act likely follow each GIPA request.
