Save Shimon's financial future

A wonderful man I know personally, a hard-working father of 6 children, lost his job 2 years ago. After a year and a half without any income, he started falling into debt. It started out with late mortgage payments , which eventually mounted to over $20,000 in credit card debt. He owes over $15,000 in tuition for his children’s moisdos. A year later he landed a job, but the income did not come close to what was needed to cover expenses for such a large family. Every day was a struggle to put bread on the table and find a way out of his dire situation. It came to a point where the school started threatening to throw out his kids. He thought he had reached rock bottom when the worst happened. Last week he received a Marshal's letter stating that if will not pay up the $40,000 owed to the bank (to be up to date with payments) he will be evicted in two weeks. He has reached a dead end and has nowhere to turn. He is paying high interest for credit card companies and there is no way he could continue like this. No gemach is willing to lend him money. It is up to us, acheini bnei yisroel, to open our hearts and pockets to save this family, their dignity, their home and their education. Every dollar counts. At this point he is b”H earning nicely and will be able to continue with financial stability if we could help get out of the mud.
