We are connected through our Italian ancestry, our heritage and our love of Patrica, Italy, the town of our family roots.

For generations we have come together to honor the tradition of the San Rocco Festa, both here and abroad.

Many of us have been blessed and privileged to have made the pilgrimage to Patrica to venerate and
celebrate San Rocco.

The statue of San Rocco in Patrica dates back to the 1700’s.  At this time, restoration is necessary due to the statue’s present state of deterioration.
This restoration is a very delicate process that requires commissioned experts in the field of restoration and preservation. Specific to cleaning and painting of the statue, structural repairs are needed as the statue is crumbling and breaking.The hands and fingers are cracked and broken.  The silver foil of the gloves didn't permit the wood underneath to breath, causing the wood to deteriorate.
The estimated cost for restoration is approximately $23,000 US dollars (€19,000).

Our fellow Patricani are asking for help to preserve the statue for future generations. The restoration will grant visitors to Patrica an opportunity to view this holy treasure.

Uniti a voi dal nostro amore per Patrica (Italia), il paese delle nostre origini e delle nostre radici famigliari.

Per generazioni abbiamo onorato insieme la festa di San Rocco sia qui ad Aliquippa che a Patrica.
Per molti di noi è stata una benedizione ed un privilegio essere venuti in pellegrinaggio a Patrica al fine di venerare e celebrare San Rocco.

La statua di San Rocco a Patrica risale agli anni 1700.
A questo punto, il restauro e’ necessrio al causo dello stato presente della deteriorazione della statua. Questo restauro e’ un processo molto delicato che necessitare esperti commissionati nel campo del restauro e preservazione. Specifico a pulire e dipingere della statua, riparazioni strutturali sono necessari come la statua e’ crollare e rompere.

Le mani e le dita sono screpolati e rotti. Il costo stimato per il restauro e’ approssimativamente €19.000.

I nostri paesani Patricani chiedono per aiuto a conservare la statua per le generazioni futuri. Il restauro concedera’ visitatori a Patrica l’opportunita’ di vedere questo tesoro santo.
