FEED NEWPORT'S : COVID-19 RESPONSE

FEED NEWPORT'S : COVID-19 RESPONSE: led by Tariq Khan and Gemma Walker are organising this fundraising appeal on behalf of Feed Newport CIC Feed Newport's Fund Many Feed Newport Volunteers want to help people affected by COVID-19, whether that's NHS workers or vulnerable members of the community. As a result, Feed Newport CIC is taking a lead role in collecting and re- distributing surplus food from Community Donations , Catering Facilities, Supermarkets and Business. Feed Newport supported Help the Homeless Newport group when it started up in 2019. It is now Newports's leading food redistribution company and is working on overdrive during the COVID-19 outbreak to continue rescuing good quality, waste food and getting it to people who need it - children, families, the homeless, elderly, people with mental health issues, domestic abuse survivors, refugees and NHS staff in hospitals.
