Lawyer Fund/Save My Sister

In October of 2016 we lost my father. He named his friends as executor and back-up and both refused the duty, a process that took some time. Then my sister attempted to get a copy of the will from my father's lawyer to no avail. I stepped in and was eventually able to get a copy of the will from this lawyer and then my sister began looking for a probate lawyer in earnest. However two weeks later we learned that house was somehow sold out from underneath us, much to our shock. My sister's family really was depending on the sale of the house to catch up on bills and buy a very much needed vehicle, new to them, to help get the three kids to school, therapy, doctors appointments, etc. Thanks to a friend who is local to Petaluma (where our father lived) we have found a lawyer who thinks there may be a chance to fight this. Lawyers however are expensive. My sister and her family live month to month and I am on disability. We need $1000.00 dollars for a retainer and $500.00 to cover billable hours. If there is anything beyond that, it will go to my sister's family to help with bills and food.
