Hi, my name is Mikhael, I am 38, the father of three beautiful children, and in a few months, I won't be able to breathe anymore.

I have a rare genetic disease called  Dyskeratosis Congenita that impacts one in a million. This disease affects people in various ways. A lot of us can enjoy lives almost as usual for a while but at some unpredictable point, major organs start to fail. This is my case. To survive, I need to undergo a complex surgery: sequential transplants of both lungs and bone marrow.

Luckily, we've found one place in the world that is able to treat it: UPMC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. But the cost of the operation is $1 million and I need help financing it because my condition is deteriorating quickly. 

We are launching 4 campaigns to raise the funds that could save my life (France, Norway, Russia and the US). The US campaign started with a goal of $100,000 to contribute to having me listed for the transplants but that has now been raised to $250,000 with the hopes to get even closer to the $1 million needed. 

I owe it to my wife and to our three wonderful kids to do everything possible to get to this miracle, but I need help financing it.
