Dear friends!

On the 18th of February Ukraine has had the darkest day of its independent history. More than 25 people are dead and thousands are injured.
The House of Labour Unions, where Maydan had the main operating centre and field hospital was burned down, so any assistance either organizational or financial is now critical.

This initiative raises money for the following most urgent current needs of Maydan:

* MEDICAL NEEDS of Maydan hospitals and field hospitals
(medical needles, bands, sterilized sheets, emergency medicine etc.);

* BASIC NEEDS for injured people in hospitals and in Mykhailovsky Cathedral (warm shoes, new linen, blankets, mats, field matrasses etc.)

* COMMUNICATION NEEDS for organisational centers of Maydan, camp hospitals and "Hospital Watch" project (cheap cellphones and old laptops, telephone and internet cards etc.)

We take responsibility to provide all our expenses exceeding 25 Hryvnias.

WHY DO WE CARE

We have been asked quite a lot on what one could do right now for Maydan and how could one support the people on Maydans in Ukraine going to war and sacrificing their lives for the future of Ukraine and its people?

In response, the Think Tank "UKRAINE 2020" together with our friends in Kyiv and abroad and alumni of the Institute of international relations have created this fundraising campaign.
