Michael was just diagnosed with Mitochondrial Neurogastrointestinal Encephelopathy a rare and life devastating disease. Michael also has a severe food allergy called Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome. (FPIES) For more information on FPIES please visit FPIESfoundation.org Michael isn't like most children with FPIES he is so severe we have trialed 50+ foods and failed them all. He relies on a special medical food but we are trying to get medical help and medical testing done because his only safe food has been changed. And even though we have insurance, with gas, and new foods, and co-pays and tests that aren't covered by insurance it all adds up. Most doctors are a tank of gas away unfortunately.

Michael is this bright light and an amazing child, we need to save him and children like him. We need to pay off some of our debt to keep him going, without help from others we can not afford his diapers, or his hemp, or his medical bills from doctors.

We have 14000 worth of credit card debt due to Michaels medical this past year. Michael is in need of many new medications, therapy, we need to make our home more allergy friendly by removing carpets and having hard wood floors put in. Michael is our whole world and may be needing a bone marrow transplant as a trial to see if it would help his mitochondrial. This fundraiser is going to be one of many.
