If there ever was a time to go for it for the sake of our fellow humans. To take a chance to have the opportunity to help in every way we ever hoped & imagined, it’s right now, right here: This 44,000 sqft Armory (former USO theater/convention hall/gymnasium) plus, multiple floors, massive basement & 40+ room barracks, cafeteria size kitchen, etc is the new Headquarters for The Exrealism Project & the street level will be Lhooq Books with a complete #gallery, the #bookstore #underground #annex #Venue and full scale #coffeehouse. We are merging with the #friendsoftheastoriaarmory the initial plan was to set up a large Lhooq Books bookstore & coffee house with an even greater emphasis on the Art Gallery, mixed use space & literal underground annex venue. To help bring in a regular income stream to support the base while working with Astoria, Or to set up large scale benefits for humanitarian & environmental aid & protection locally & globally. Large concerts & featured guests, We will also organize regular community entertainment from skatepark night, black tie Gala’s, to special & regular gatherings & services. Of course the COVID-19 Pandemic and resulting protocols taken have seriously altered and changed how, what & when we can do all the above. But in the meantime we can set up and adjust to help with the Pandemic. Just imagine what we will accomplish here with our arts & culture based Humanitarian & Environmental aid & protection and more. But although this is a golden opportunity. It is not a golden ticket. We are there to help build awareness & make all this happen from the aid we can provide to the fundraising, grant writing, etc we need to fund these goals & mission statements. Right now we have plans we are working on & will implement once we are set up, but we need help getting up there. We need a to raise the funds to relocate in these difficult times?! We cannot hold the benefits, etc in the current small space & time we have in these conditions. So we are down to direct contact asking you to help us so we can go on to begin helping countless people in need from the most serious on to the most creative & profound!
