Thomas Family Childhood Cancer Expenses Recovery

Hey Everyone Kenny Clutch here with our family The Thomas Clan. On June 19th 2018, Our 1 yr old Son Kristian was Diagnosed with AMKL - Leukemia (Cell Cancer). Our family faced a challenge like never before. Our faith and strength as family were tested.  My wife Josie and I and our other 3 children, Aliyanna, Kaleb, and Javion. Gathered together in prayer to get ready for the battle ahead. Not only did we lock arms. But our family and the rest of the world began to lock arms as well as our story about how we were battling Cancer went Viral as I danced by my son (Kristian's) bed side everyday to keep his spirits high during chemo treatments. We ended up having to shut our studio down during the summer, only opening on certain days and special events to tend to Kristian's Care. Being that my wife and I were not able to run the day-to-day operations at the studio during that time we started to lose money. We did not run our annual Summer Program that helps us get through the dip in the summer time.  So we created #fightkristian tees to help with the funding to pay our bills, and other expenses, getting to and from Jersey to Philly. We made enough money at the time to pay rent at our home, and to at least keep the lights on. Our story was seen on Steve Harvey's Show, and support by many like, Ciara, Janet Jackson, Common, Kid N Play, Nicole Scherzinger and more. Reaching over 60 million views on social media platforms. People are truly inspired by our positive mindset in such a trying situation.  Fast Forward 149  days later and Kristian is Cancer FREE!! But like most Families impacted by cancer we lost 45% of our Income. We lost opportunities to hold events, classes and more. Only 5 1/2 weeks removed from Beating Cancer and now we face another battle. We got word from our Landlord at our Dance Studio Level Dance Complex that if we don't come up with the back pay and late fees of the rent we will have to shut down completely.  This Studio is what feeds our family and is a home to many dancers and the Down Syndrome Community. If we lose it we would be left with nothing. So we are reaching out to all of our supporters to help us raise the funds to keep it open and help float us until we are able to gain more students. We honestly would need a little more then the 200K. But for the most part that will cover the back rent plus pay off rent for advanced months so we are not worried about coming up with the cost and we can focus on promoting that the studio is back and ready to proceed with the mission to help Dancers get to the professional level, at the same time opening the doors for students with Down Syndrome to dance and help their motor skills.  Updated: April 4th,2019 - Our other challenge we now have is our home has been put on the market. We were supposed to buy the home we live in a year ago. But of course with our situation that did not happen. Our landlord has notified us that he has to sell the home. The expenses are to much for him and his family to handle. He did let us know he will at least give us the first shot at the home. But now we have a deadline to buy it asap. As he is looking to sell it now. Our home asking price is $165K. We don't have enough credit for a loan. We have tried everything.  Updated: May 2019 Our Business was closed officially. Kenny has been speaking at Schools, Events, and Back to Teaching Daily in Dance Studios. But what we make right now is just enough for us to barely get by paying the Bill's and not enough to save up to purchase the home.
