It is intended to operate a licensed venue for up to 120 guests, trading 7 days a week from 9am - 10 pm each day. (Trading hours referenced in the Urban Strategies Town Planning report dated February 2017 16-5885 in the executive summary point 1.2 on page 2 - "The proposed hours of operation of the Function Facility are 9am until 10pm Monday to Sunday")
The community are concerned about the level of noise from functions, increased traffic, overall safety and the change to the residential amenity a development of this proportion would bring to the area.
We are seeking the support of the community in raising funds to engage a Town Planner to review the submission and to assist concerned residents in the community with formulating objections to the proposal.
The owner has until 10th September 2017 to lodge additional documents requested by Council to finalise his application. Once accepted by Council, the community will only have 15 business days to raise any objections to the proposal.
With such a tight timeframe - the residents of Kundes Road and the surrounding community wish to raise the funds now, so that we're ready to engage the town planner, the moment the documents have been accepted by Council.
