On April 19, 2014, My mother Janet took her last breath inside of our Springville, NY home. Originally this fundraiser was to cover to get my mother home which we did successfully however now my mother has passed on. When we set up the funeral to her wishes the costs have totaled approximately $8,000. My family needs help to defray the costs of her funeral. We have approximately four thousand right now to put toward it, any help to our family would be greatly appreciated. My mother was a wonderful woman who would bend over backwards to do anything for anybody. She had a pure heart and a pure soul. My father is currently disabled and is unable to go back to work and just simply cannot afford to give her the service that she deserves.

Grandmother Diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer While on Vacation with Granddaughter.
Medical Transport Home Desperately Needed
Only days after receiving the awful news of my miscarriage, my mother while on vacation in Florida with my 4 year old daughter, as well as several other family member is diagnosed with stage 4 small cell carcinoma in her brain, spine, lungs and liver.
She, Janet (Jan) Bacon, age 53, now finds herself in critical condition desperately in need of medical transportation home. I have set up this go fund me page in an effort to raise the money needed to get her home. Due to this late hour, I am unsure of the full cost of medical transportation. I have been told by the Dr's in Tampa it could be as high as $30,000 for the flight with the proper medical staff.
The medical flight is required as the risk is great given the locations of her tumors. Specifically the tumors on her spine. The trip has the potential to cause injury to the spine, and it is imperative that trained medical staff are on hand to facilitate her safe journey home for further treatment.
My family and I are reaching out to all of our friends, family and anyone in the community who feels compelled to help. 100% of the proceeds will go to getting her back home safely. Please share this page with anyone you feel might be able to help, take advantage of social media tools by helping me promote this. Our family is not in the best position to cover such an expense and we are in dire need of any help that can be offered.
