Jade needs your help! Jade had an upset stomach and decided to eat some grass. A lot of grass. Jade ate so much grass that it is impacted in her stomach! The xray shows a griant grass fetus in Jades abdomen. It may be obscuring an object that was causing the initial dis-ease. Jade needs urgent surgery to remove her grass-baby! Jade is feeling very sick, dry heaving and shaking. The surgery will cost $3,500 and needs to happen immediately! Every passing moment, Jades life hangs in the balance, as this immovable mass may cause tissue necrosis to her delicate stomach tissue.

Please help me save my best friend! Jade is 10 years old. She has been by my side since I was 18 years old. Jade is the sweetest, most loving soul that could possibly exist in this Universe. Rubbing her tummy will make your wishes come true, and her kisses are magically delicious!

*Update: Jade is staying the night at the vet clinic, receiving 1 liter of NS. She will receive another x-ray in the morning to see if the mass has changed.

**Update: The vet clinic agreed to move forward with the surgery, allowing me to pay for the surgery when I pick her up on Thursday, April 3rd!

Jade had her surgery! Dr. Harris removed .8 lbs of grass from Jades stomach!! Also, she removed a bunch of foxtails, which are tiny sharp little spears mixed in to the native grasses. There were several lodged in her tummy tissue! Thankfully, Dr. Harris was able to remove all of them without complication.

I have until Thursday to pay for the surgery! Now that Jade has had the surgery and her life is no longer in danger, I am not freaking out. But anything you could offer would still mean the world to me!!
