Saving Ashlee Medical Funding

On May 15, 2016,  my 27 -year-old daughter Ashlee was diagnosed with a rare Luekemia. In one terrifying instant, her family was told there was some problem with her bone marrow function that the doctors needed to keep her in a special unit where they needed to be covered in masks, gloves, and sanitary smocks, because she had no immune system to fight off infection. Later that day they gave her a red blood cell transfusion and our family waited for the blood results the following day to come from Stanford. on Monday Ashlee was diagnosed with B cell Acute lymphoblastic Leukemia.  Her immune system had completely shut down and had no ability to fight off disease. This form of Luekemia is a very rare form that usually occurs in children. Monday evening Ashlee was medi-vacked to UC San Francisco Hospital for cancer treatment.

Ashlee Currently:

Currently the doctors at UCSF are trying to bring Ashlee's liver count down. They do not want to destroy her liver, because her liver counts are so high as well as her being  neutrapetic with no immune system. During these circumstances It makes it very hard for Ashlee to get out of bed, walk, and do the simple things like use the restroom. 

These devastating changes are a parent's worst nightmare, and an unfair sentence for any innocent child.

But there is hope! Researchers at UC San Francisco Hospital have a new leukemia treatment protocol that can fight and kill this form of her disease. This treatment could save Ashlee and literally stop this disease in its tracks overnight in order to put her into remission.

Saving Ashlee Medical Fund is to help aide Ashlee as a single mother to afford the medical costs after insurance, as well as care that we are not sure of yet when she eventually comes home. These finances will also care for her child Bella, her monthly car payments,  personal living expenses, expenses for me her mother (Sherry) to be with her during this difficult time.
