Saving Angel!

***UPDATE: We've reached our goal for Angel!! Her sugery is done and we've covered that plus some meds and items she'll need for recovery UNLESS she has complications or any diseases. I didn't realize the likely hood of that until I picked her up today, which is a road we'll travel if we need to, later. For now my thinking is this.....if anyone wants to continue to donate, those donations, if not used for Angel, will be used for future animals in need. I am transferring this money into a separate account just for rescue & rehab work and will be used only for treatment and care. There are many who can vouch for me and I am about being transparent, so I will be tracking funds and expenses (I'm a bookkeeper by trade and I have a job). Angel's Story:

This sweet baby is in Bastrop animal shelter which is completely over capacity and does not have the capability of dealing with this poor baby's injuries. She needs surgery to amputate her leg and will need rehabilitation and nurturing to get her weight back on and gain her confidence and trust. Her eyes say it all, this world has not been nice to her, lets show her what love is all about!  

I need to raise money for her surgery & rehabilitation. This needs to happen fast or they will be forced to euthanize her as soon as Friday so I also am looking for volunteers to transport her to me or at least part way. 

Immediate needs are surgery, medication, a large kennel for her to rehab in and feel secure and special food to put her weight on and heal.
