Please help save Abby's leg

Abby is an adopted Yorkshire Terrier who was found roaming on the freeway. She's about 11 months old and has a very pronounced limp in her front right leg which was fractured and did not heal correctly. The first day we met her at the animal shelter she ran up to my son and jumped into his lap. It was love at first sight. She is simply the sweetest, most affectionate pet a family could ever have. After a consultation with a specialist, we were advised that surgery is recommended otherwise Abby’s leg will eventually be amputated when she is older. We made a commitment to Abby by adopting her and now we need your help to save Abby's leg. Any funds that are acquired in excess of her medical expenses will be donated to the Peninsula Humane Society in San Mateo, California.
