On Sunday Oct 27, 2013 there was a massive fire in Hadley, Ma that destroyed a strip mall and residential complex. This was the home to our kung fu school, The Chinese Kung Fu Wushu Academy. The firefighters came from many surrounding areas and fought all night to try to save the building but nothing could be saved. We lost everything!
After hearing the news about the fire I rushed down to the Academy to see it for myself. As I stood there and watched the building fall down, all I could only think about my students. I was awake all night thinking: what will my students do now? How upset will my students be to find out they no longer have a place to go practice and learn? Most importantly how are we going to rebuild after this? I do not have the resources to start over again...
After literally watching the school crumble in front of me I thought about giving up and letting go... But this school means to much to so many people. In the past two years, it has literally changed peoples lives. From timid teens learning their strengths to adults reclaiming their lives through fitness, we have literally saved lives.

So I ask you all this.. I honestly do not like asking anyone for help and especially not for money BUT I can NOT give up on these kids I will not give up on my students! I love my students like I love my family. I will do whatever to rebuild our academy so my students will be able to train and learn again. Please help me and especially the students that have come to love this school so much in our effort to rebuild our beloved TCKWA! I know this is a long shot but this is our last resort.
