SAVE A LIFE & BRING MY BOYS HOME

My dogs mean the world to me, they are the only ones who are happy to see me when i get home and the only ones who keep me company the very few hours I’m at home at not working. The fate of my dogs returning home is essentially in the hands of the injured dog owner and whether she wants to pursue pressing charges. She can also sue me if she so chooses. It is my hope as long as I can pay the vet bills that no additional charges or repurcussions will be imposed on the dogs or myself.  As many of you know I recently made a career change and my money is beyond tight, I do not have the funds to pay ordinary househould bills let alone an unexpected huge amount like this.  Any donation, of any amount is greatly appreciated.

I do not usually ask for help but in this case I have no other choice. 

The situation is such that on Friday night my two loving pups, Ransom and Badger got themselves into a huge mess.  While i was at work, they snuck out the back door because one of my 4 yr old nieces didn't shut it all the way.  They went exploring and found a couple of smaller dogs being walked by their owner.  A scuffle ensued and they hurt one of the smaller dogs.  The injured dog is OK but is in the pet ER with a very upset and frazzled owner.  Ransom and Badger have been hauled off to dog jail but I am hopeful they will eventually return.  Although it was totally unintentional, my dogs were in the wrong by not being on leashes, so I am taking full responsibility for the entirety of the other dog's vet bills, which are so far are at $4500-$5000 with the possibility of surgery in the future.
