Save Island Breeze: Hurricane Irma

Donation protected

My name is Norma Lemon and with my husband Norman we are the proud owners of Island Breeze restaurant, on Mosquito Beach. Hurricane Irma has completely destroyed all our equipment and caused structural damage to the building. The flooding was catastrophic causing thousands of dollars worth of damages. Unfortunately due to the extraordinary costs of replacement and repair, ISLAND BREEZE will be CLOSED until further notice due to Hurricane Irma bringing in over 2ft of water. We are reaching out to the surrounding community for any help /aid that could be provided.

Our kitchen has been completely wiped out.
We've lost stand up and chest freezers, coolers, deep fryers, basically everything that runs on electricity.

The main rooms have some structural and electrical damages.

Our audio system is (speakers, subwoofers, wiring) has also been destroyed.

Our backyard stage from being waterlogged is inoperable and would need to be replaced.

Mosquito Beach has never seen this amount of water since hurricane Hugo, and we can't continue without your help. Any equipment or donations would help us dearly so that we can get back up and running. Thank you in advance for your help, it's greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Island Breeze
