NEW LIFE FOR HUNTER & MAKINZI

Help Hunter and Makinzi have a new stable life. They have lived a turbulent life and gone through hard situations. Hunter and Makinzi are 14 and 12 and have seen too much instability in their young lives.
· Their mother, Tawni has had a fight trying to keep the children safe from their father, Michael. For years he has been verbally and physically abusive. Last year Michael beat both kids because they were not tired at 8:00 pm and he was. Michael hit Makinzi a total of 42 times. Tawni took the children to the police and a judge finally saw the truth. The judge made a temporary protective order long term plus added supervised visitations for two years. The children have never felt safe around him and have nightmares each time they have to visit him. We are trying to get the relocation so the children can have loving family to help them get over the abuse.
· In 2012 Tawni married Robert. He has always made the children feel safe but unfortunately Robert and Tawni are getting divorced. Without the extra support both children have become even more afraid and insecure about their future. They are surviving but all are wishing for a more stable life.
They want to make a change and move to Montana. In Montana Tawni has her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Tawni is an enrolled tribal member and it would be wonderful to get back to her roots. Tawni filed a petition for relocation and it is being challenged by Michael. Tawni desperately needs $2500.00 for a retainer to her lawyer. Winning a relocation petition will be next to impossible without a lawyer. Please help Tawni to keep Hunter and Makinzi safe and give them a stable environment to live in.
