Please help us keep our rescue doors open

Donation protected
With the closure of many other rescues we have become very busy and we have been asked to take cats in that need veterinary treatment, at CCCC we have never turned a cat in need away. With our combined vet bills from 4 different practices our vets bill is over £4000. We are asking if you could just donate a little to help this. We have also got the expansion of our new rescue to consider too, this will enable us to help the cats in need. CCCC have always taken on any cat in need, even if that includes medical treatment or end of life care, we currently have 3 end of life cats in foster that would of died outside in this horrendous weather if we didn’t bring them in. We also have long term fosters that have severe medical issues, the latest being a chinchilla Persian that has had severe issues with his stools for over 3 years which his owners could sadly no longer cope with. We are having to run lots of tests and put him on specialised food to try and help this poor boy who only weighs 2.94kg at 7 years old. We have a 16 year old torti that came in with severe issues, her bones are deformed and she walks like a crab due to not having any treatment given to her prior to us agreeing to help her. She is such a sweet older lady that would of been dumped when her old owners moved if we didn’t bring her in. It’s not just vets bills that we are struggling with it’s the day to day things also like cat food, dry and wet, cat litter, blue roll, disinfectants and rent for our premises. All this combined is taking its toll on our finances and we really do need your help. The last thing we want to do is close our rescue but if we are not able to increase our incoming donations we will not have any choice but to close the rescue doors. This will have a major impact on all the wonderful volunteers that work extremely hard to care for our rescue cats, it will also have and massive impact on our current long term residents that all need medical care and treatment. So if you able to donate just a pound toward our goal we would really appreciate it. If everyone on our rescue page was to set up a standing order and donate just £1 a week we wouldn’t have any concerns and finances wouldn’t be an issue. Please help us so we can continue to help the cats in need. Thank you From all at CCCC.
