The Haus of Dogs is WA's only cage-free dog adoption lounge, located in Edmonds, approximately 10 miles North of downtown Seattle. We partner with various rescues to save dogs in high-kill shelters from euthanasia. Our cage-free environment allows the pups' true personality to shine through, improves their socialization skills, minimizes kennel stress, therefore resulting in happier, healthier pups! All of this gives them a better chance at finding a forever home.
Covid-19 has hit small businesses hard and we are one of them. After being open for only 13 weeks, we have had to shut our doors, hopefully temporarily, but the future is uncertain. Please help us raise enough to survive Covid-19 so we can keep saving shelter dogs from euthanasia. We have found homes for 30 dogs but our work is far from done. We can't do this without your help.
I spent a year cutting through red tape, fighting to open an establishment that's a one of its kind in WA, because I want these pups to have a cage-free environment to live in and fur friends to play with, while waiting to get adopted. The Haus has also brought much joy to humans who have come to play with these dogs. I love being able to provide a safe, happy space for the community to enjoy the companionship of dogs, regardless if they are looking to adopt.
