My name is Carlin and I am asking for help with getting my dog her surgery. Violet Sue came into my life in 2016 by accident; my roommate just didn't have time for her. I had never owned a dog in my adult life and never planned on having a dog. Now, I can't see my life without her. I was told I could never have my own children, and Violet Sue is as close as I will ever have to having my own child. She has shown me what loyalty is and loved me when no one else was there, especially after losing my mom. Now, I am faced with trying to raise funds for her surgery that she must have. The surgery is Mammary Gland Tumor surgery due to not being fixed. This is a fierce lesson for me, and I want to tell others that it is important to get your fur babies fixed as Mammary Gland Tumors are so real and so scary. I was able to raise the majority of the money for the surgery, and this is the last step as the vet said that this is an estimate, so be prepared if we open her up and there is more. This is very humbling for me considering asking for money is hard for me. I appreciate all the calls and prayers through this process. Her surgery is set for September 9th at 7:45am.
