Save Them From Being Slaughtered!

One of my friends on Facebook has posted over 20 horses, ponies, and donkeys that are headed to slaughter in next few days. After seeing pictures of these poor animals who have been sold to slaughter, I really wanted to do something for at least a few, so I reached out to a family member in Pennsylvania that has a small farm. She has agreed and is able to take three of them, but can not afford all the expenses to get them free from the dealer that now owns them. So, I've decided to start a GoFundMe to help start saving these animals.
I've also reached out to the folks that can rescue some of the other animals from the dealer and they are ready to help.
I'd like to start with three of these beautiful animals and save them from being slaughtered.
The first one is a Gelding Paint pony We do not know the name, but it is 7 years old, super gentle and was at a petting zoo before being sold to this dealer to be slaughtered for food.
Next, we have two donkeys - 10-year-old Jenny and its baby named Jack. Yes, a baby donkey was sold to be slaughtered! We do not know the backstory on these two, but the owners sold them to be slaughtered for food.
The man who bought them for food is willing to take the same money he would make by selling them to the slaughterhouse to release them to rescuers. Donated money will allow us to purchase these animals back from the dealer and cover all other expenses to save them.
Money Donated will cover the following expenses:
- Purchase them from the dealer
- Vet Visit
- Health Certificate
- Coggins
- Onsite Pickup
- 30 Day Quarantine
- Transportation to new forever Home!
Right now the dealer has so many animals going to slaughter, any extra donations will be used to save addition animals from going to slaughter.
